Before using Herbatint, prepare the color by wearing gloves and a protection cape or an old towel. Mix equal amounts of color and developer in a plastic or glass bowl until a gel consistency is achieved. The cap of the bottles serves as a measuring tool (1 cap = 5 mL). After use, securely replace the caps on the bottles containing unused products for your next application. Dispose of any mixed product remaining in the bowl.

When applying Herbatint, start with a layer of Royal Cream (included in the box) along your hairline to avoid staining your skin. Apply the mixture onto dry, unwashed hair with a brush. It’s important to note that the initial color of the mixture does not affect the final color result. There are two cases for application:

1. Application on Uncoloured Hair: Apply the mixture evenly from roots to ends. Allow it to process for 40 minutes.
2. Application on Previously Coloured Hair: Start by applying the mixture to the root re-growth area for 30 minutes, then apply the remainder to the rest of the hair and wait an additional 10 minutes (total processing time: 40 minutes).

After the processing time, rinse thoroughly with water, tilting your head back to keep the product out of your eyes. Continue rinsing until the water runs clear, then shampoo your hair, preferably using Herbatint Normalising Shampoo. Rinse again and towel dry. Finally, apply Herbatint Royal Cream, a regenerating conditioner, and leave it in for 5 minutes before rinsing again. Style your hair as usual to reveal vibrant, beautifully colored strands.
