Start by applying a dot of the Gel Adhesive to the pre-buffed underside of the artificial nail tip that will meet your natural nail. Gently press the nail tip onto your natural nail, starting from the cuticle area and moving towards the free edge. Maintain constant, firm pressure to eliminate any air bubbles – if bubbles are present, simply remove the nail tip, apply more adhesive, and reposition it.
While continuing to press the nail tip, activate the LED lamp’s motion sensor to flash cure the adhesive for 5-7 seconds. This step secures the position of the nail tip. Remember, the gel is not fully cured at this point, so it’s important to remove any excessive gel around the skin and underneath the tip before proceeding to the full cure. Finish the curing process with an additional 1-2 minutes, ensuring that the sides and edges are fully cured. For clear and light-colored nail tips, a one-minute cure is sufficient, while darker colors and designs may require a full two-minute cure. For intricate designs such as French or ombré, turn your finger upside down and cure for an additional minute for thorough results.
Repeat these steps for all ten nails, making sure to keep the Gel Adhesive container tightly closed after use to maintain its quality. If there is any excessive gel underneath the nail tip, you can easily wipe away the tacky layer using a cotton swab soaked in alcohol. Finally, trim and file the artificial tips to your desired length and shape using the rough side of the nail file.
