There are multiple ways to apply the SEPHORA COLLECTION Soft Matte & Easy Liquid Lipstick for different effects. For a thin layer and a wash of color, glide on the product. For a more intense look, apply a thin layer and let it dry, then add a second coat for a totally opaque result. To achieve a blurred lip effect, apply the matte liquid lipstick as normal and use the top of the applicator to blur the contour of your lips before the product dries. For a gradient lip effect, apply the product to the center of your lips and blend it out using your fingertips until you achieve the desired effect. For standard application, place the flat part of the smooth, matte lipstick’s applicator on your Cupid’s bow and glide the tip from the center of the mouth to the corners. Repeat on the other half of your top lip and then on your bottom lip, following your mouth’s natural shape.
